This truly spacious penthouse apartment with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and no less than four private terraces, can provide the ideal family base at Playa Granada from which to enjoy a variety of holiday activities such as the beach, golf, ski-ing and sight seeing.

Relax by one of the two outdoor pools, shared gardens and terraces and take advantage of the health spa, with its plunge pool, sauna and jacuzzi, all available exclusively for residents.

 

The Costa Tropical of Granada is renowned for its year round warm climate and the penthouse's unique location is such that the view from the terraces includes both the back drop of the snow capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada, the sea at Playa Granada beach, whilst overlooking the tenth hole of Los Moriscos Golf course.

The penthouse is a modern, very well equipped apartment with full airconditioning/ central heating, polished terracota tiled floors, double glazed windows, ceramic tiled bathrooms and kitchen. In all the property comprises a floor plan of some 221 sq metres.

 

The spacious and light main sittingroom/dining area has two sets of double doors that lead onto the main terrace. Both areas will comfortably seat eight, with the lounge equipped with flat screen TV, DVD and CD facilities. This living area is completely separate to the bedrooms.

The main double bedroom has its own marble finished ensuite bathroom as well as double doors leading to its own private terrace. Bedroom two also has its own private terrace. Both twin bedded rooms have hideaway beds, boosting the total possible occupancy to eight. There are two further bathrooms, which together with the ensuite facilities gives a total of three baths/ showers, bidets, and wc's.


 

The modern fully equipped kitchen also has its own terrace, ideal for the BBQ, or indeed for separate dining. The kitchen comprises four ring electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker. Included is a breakfast bar and two stools. There is a separate utility room off the kitchen, that houses the washing machine/dryer and an extra sink. The kitchen has its own terrace, with BBQ provided.

The main terrace leading off the sitting room/dining area comprises over 45 sq metres with ample space for both sunbathing and dining areas and is fully equipped with patio furniture, sun loungers and planters.

The penthouse overlooks the health spa, with its indoor plunge pool, sauna and jacuzzi, as well as the extensive general gardens, seating and terraces. The spa is staffed with a booking reservation system when you are there with a nominal charge.
To the front of the property are two outdoor swimming pools, open from June to September, and in addition two paddle tennis courts are also available for residents use. Paddle tennis equipment is available to use from the apartment. There is secure underground parking.

The Costa Tropical of Granada enjoys its own micro climate, sub tropical in nature, providing all year round sun with a minimum 18 degrees in winter and an average 25 degrees in summer.

The historic and culturally rich city of Granada, with the fabulous Alhambra Palace is just a 45 minute drive away through the stunning Sierra Nevada region with the fascinating Alpujarras villages even closer nearby.

The family friendly ski resort of the Sierra Nevada is only a one hour drive away with the resort open from December to April. Ski equipment and lessons if required are readily available with a wide range of runs open to suit all abilities. The resort itself is very well served by hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, and ski shops.

Playa Granada is very close to Salobrena and Motril, and both are well served by all local amenities. Salobrena is an historic castle topped town surrounded by picturesque streets in its old quarter and with numerous restaurants and bars along its extensive beach front. Motril is a more modern Spanish town with its large supermarket, designer shops, tapas bars and restaurants. Further along the coast are the nearby towns of Almunecar and Herradura, both very popular and well appointed tourist resorts. Nerja, perhaps the best known holiday destination, is now just 35 minutes away.


Playa Granada beach is well appointed and is also only a short walk away from apartment. Other good quality beaches are nearby at Salobrena, Almunecar and Herradura, and there are numerous coves tucked away all along the interesting coast line. Almunecar also has its own water park (high season only), ideal for all the family.
