This stylish penthouse apartment is situated just a short walk from the centre of Salobrena and to the beaches. The large terrace (125 square metres) has wonderful views to the historic Moorish castle of Salobrena, the Sierra Nevadas and to the town and Mediterranean sea.
The terrace has a sun shade, table and chairs, sunloungers and a stone built BBQ - ideal for alfresco dining. Access to the terrace is from patio doors from either the sitting room, master bedroom or second double bedroom. The terrace wraps around the apartment and from early morning through to late evening there is always somewhere to sit in the sun!

This spacious and well furnished apartment makes an ideal holiday base while staying in the area. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom (with bath), a second double bedroom and a single bedroom. The modern well equipped kitchen/dining area is provided with all utensils including microwave and washing machine.
The sitting area has comfortably chairs and sofa, satellite TV with free to air English speaking channels and Spanish TV reception, DVD and CD/music system including books and dvds. There is an airconditioning/heating system throughout the apartment.

Situated on the Costa Tropical, Salobrena is a beautiful Andalucian town built on a craggy rock overlooking the Mediterranean. At the top of the hill is the Arab Castle where incredible views of the coastline and Sierra Nevada mountains can be enjoyed. The maze of narrow streets beneath the castle offers a charming introduction of Moorish Spain to the visitor.
Salobrena is really two towns, the historic "casco antinguo" of traditional white houses and narrow streets winding up to the castle, and the new town of wider streets and shady boulevards below with all the bustle in summer of a lively Spanish holiday resort. It is a sizeable town and local centre with a life of its own independent of tourism so plenty of restaurants and bars stay open even out of season.

The beaches of El Penon and La Guardia on either side of Salobrena, with beach bars and restaurants, are in walking distance. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sporting and adventure activities in the area. Windsurfing, beach volleyball, deep sea angling, rod fishing and other water sports are all available in this lovely seaside location.
Due to its geographical location, Salobrena is close to the most important places of interest in the area. It is a good stepping-off point for visiting not only the Sierra Nevada (for ski-ing) but also the Alhambra Palace and the city of Granada (50 minutes drive away). The Alpujarras area and its villages are also well worth a trip while visiting the area.
