Finca Maria Carmen and Location

Finca Maria Carmen is situated 5 minutes behind Motril with delightful uninterrupted views across the hills planted with fruit trees down to the Mediterranean sea. There is a large private pool of 12 mtrs long x 6 mtrs wide.

The Finca sits on a hillside looking down to the sea. The property has its own gated entrance with car parking either inside or outside the gates.

The flowers and fruit trees surrounding the house are all organically grown and the land surrounding the Finca and belonging to it is still retained as a productive and working farm.

There are many areas both shaded and sunny for relaxing together or to find a quieter spot to read that book you haven´t had time for! There is a large brick built BBQ. The pool has secure gated access and is fenced.

The beaches are unspoilt, there are golf courses in Granada (18 holes) and Los Moriscos golf course (9 holes - 9 further holes will be ready in May 2006) just 6km from Motril, by the sea with a golf bar and a restaurant There is also the Marina at the Port of Motril.

This is the old Andalucian part of Spain, complete with fiestas, whitewashed villages, Moorish castles and some of the best and least expensive food and wine to be found. The restaurants and tapas bars are very good and the fish is excellent.

There is history to be found everywhere, from the Alhambra Palace in Granada (just 50 minutes by car) to the Alpujarras region. The coastal towns of Almeria, Almunecar, Salobrena and Nerja are also well worth a visit.

  • Sitting/Dining room: a large and high ceiling open plan room, comfortably and tastefully furnished with two sofas and 4 easy chairs. Dining table and chairs. Satellite TV, DVD player, CD/radio/cassette player
• Kitchen: American style kitchen with bar. Twin marble sinks, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven/grill, 2 ring electric hob, crockery and cutlery.
• Sitting room 2: airconditioning, furnished with 2 sofas, 4 easy chairs and a card table. Double sofa bed.
• Bathroom 1: with bath/shower, sink and toilet
• Patio (with children´s swing seats). BBQ area. Laundry area and washing machine.

• Upstairs: Stairs from side of open plan sitting room on ground floor to:
  • Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with side tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
  • Bedroom 2: Twin room with chest of drawers and wardrobe.
  • Bedroom 3: Twin room with chest of drawers, side table and wardrobe.
  • Bathroom 2: with sink, bidet and toilet.
• Outside/Gardens: Walled and gated with space for 2 cars inside the gates. Two further shaded terrace areas, Patio and pool furniture, BBQ area, Gate at end of swimming pool area with access onto the hillside beyond the house planted with fruit trees
