This lovely home is newly refurbished with traditional Spanish tiling and wooden touches throughout. Located in one of Salobrena´s most historic neighborhoods, Casa Melodia gives you a feel for real Spain without having to give up modern conveniences.

The ground floor comprises a good-sized open plan kitchen and dining area, one bedroom with a patio, and shower room. The kitchen is easy to work in with a microwave, hob/oven and ample counter space.

The comfortable sitting room on the second floor is newly furnished and has television, CD music system and a lovely terrace with magnificent views over the town to the sea. A hallway leads to a full bathroom and a double bedroom with private terrace.

The laundry room is up on the third floor, with a terrace just outside for convenient clothes-drying. From this terrace one has marvellous views over Salobrena, the cane fields and the Mina Sierra mountain range beyond. Complete with table and chairs, it is a perfect spot for catching the morning sun during breakfast.

Casa Melodia is carefully designed with an open stairwell and easy floor plan that gives it an airy, open feel. Perfect for two couples or a family of four.

It is tucked into a quiet side street of the village. However, numerous restaurants, bars, shops, parks and markets are an easy stroll away. The beach and just about everything else in the town is within 20-minute walk.

An interesting artisan center, located within two blocks from the house, is open to the public and there you will find artists making and selling their original works in metal, wood, oils and other mediums.

For those preferring not to hire a car, the village bus stops less than 100 meters from Melodia, less than a two-minute walk from the house. This bus takes you to the castle, the newer part of town, the beach and also to La Caleta, a quaint fishing village located across the sugar cane fields from Salobrena.
